Overview
The Usage & Activity page provides comprehensive monitoring of your ScaleNodes resources. Track usage patterns, review activity logs, and identify optimization opportunities.
Access Path: /dashboard/logs
Activity Dashboard
When you navigate to /dashboard/logs, you’ll see the main activity monitoring interface.
Time Range Selector
Available Time Ranges
Select the period you want to view:
- Last Hour - Most recent 60 minutes
- Last 24 Hours - Previous day
- Last 7 Days - Previous week
- Last 30 Days - Previous month
How to Select
- Click the time range dropdown
- Choose your desired period
- Dashboard updates automatically
- Stats and logs refresh
Use shorter time ranges (Last Hour, Last 24h) for real-time monitoring and debugging. Use longer ranges (7 days, 30 days) for trend analysis.
Activity Statistics
Stats Cards Overview
The dashboard displays key metrics in card format:
Total Events
- Count of all activity events in selected period
- Includes all service types
- Updates with time range selection
Service Deployments
- Number of deployments executed
- Includes successful and failed deployments
- Web apps, databases, tasks, etc.
API Calls
- Total API requests made
- Internal and external calls
- Useful for tracking automation
Resource Changes
- Configuration modifications
- Service updates
- Setting changes
Error Count
- Failed operations
- Service errors
- Deployment failures
Active Services
- Currently running services
- Real-time count
- All service types
Understanding the Metrics
High Event Count
- Indicates active usage
- Normal for production environments
- May indicate automation or CI/CD
High Error Count
- Requires investigation
- Check activity log for details
- May indicate configuration issues
Low Activity
- May indicate unused services
- Opportunity for cost savings
- Consider stopping idle resources

Log List View
The activity log shows a chronological list of events.
Log Entry Components
Each entry displays:
- Timestamp - Exact date and time of event
- Event Type - Category of activity:
- 🚀 Deployment - Service deployed or updated
- ⚙️ Configuration - Settings changed
- 👤 User Action - Manual user operation
- 🔄 System Event - Automatic system action
- ❌ Error - Failed operation
- ✅ Success - Completed operation
- Service - Which resource was affected
- User - Who performed the action (or “System”)
- Description - Details of what happened
- Status - Success, Failed, or In Progress
